(Arrahmah.com) - Pada akhir tahun 1948, Sayyid Quthb (rahimahullah) meninggalkan Iskandariah, Mesir, menuju Amerika melalui Kapal Api dengan melintasi laut tengah dan mengarungi samudera Atlantik. Diatas kapal api itu banyak persitiwa yang membekas dalam hatinya. Bahkan kenangan dalam perjalanan menuju Amerika itu banyak dituangkan saat ia menulis Tafsir Fii Dzhilalil Qur'an. Salah satu kisahnya saat beliau melihat seorang misionaris Kristen berupaya mengkristenkan umat Islam yang menumpang kapal tersebut. Kejadian itu berlangsung tepat ketika waktu bergulir menuju Shalat Jum'at. Sayyid Quthb melihat sang misionaris tidak ubahnya pendeta-pendeta pada umumnya yang menawarkan ajaran agama Kristen yang sangat kacau. Sontak saja, hal ini membangkitkan rasa dan semangat keimanannya untuk menjaga akidah saudara semuslimnya. Tidak butuh menunggu waktu lama, ia segera menghubungi kapten kapal untuk meminta izin mendirikan Sholat Jum'at di atas kapal. Semua orang Islam, berikut awak kapal pun kemudian mendatangi panggilan Shalat Jum'at yang diinisiasikan Sayyid Quthb. Ia kemudian bertindak sebagai khotib dan usut siapa sangka Sayyid Quthb ternyata tengah melakukan perubahan besar dalam kapal tersebut. Rupanya, shalat Jum'at yang ia pimpin adalah shalat Jum'at pertama yang didirikan di kapal tersebut. Mengenai hal ini, Sayyid Quthb sempat menulisnya dalam Tafsir Fii Dzihilalil Qur'an saat membahas Surat Yunus. "Nahkoda kapal (seorang Inggris) memberikan kemudahan kepada kami untuk menunaikan shalat. Ia memberikan kelonggaran kepada para awak kapal, para juru masak, dan para pelayannya, yang kesemuanya beragama Islam untuk menunaikan shalat Jum'at bersama kami asalkan tidak ada tugas saat waktu itu. Mereka sangat bergembira, karena ini merupakan kali pertama dilaksanakannya shalat Jum'at di kapal tersebut." Sayyid bersama para jama'ah kemudian menjadi santapan para penumpang asing. Gerakan Sholat Sayyid dan kaum muslimin terasa asing bagi mereka namun memendam kelembutan ibadah yang begitu syahdu. Hingga sesaat setelah shalat Juma'at dilaksanakan, banyak diantara orang asing mendatangi Sayyid dan para jama'ah seraya mengucapkan selamat dan sukses atas ibadah Jum'at yang baru saja dilaksanakan. Sayyid Quthb pun menulis kenangan itu dalam Kitab Fi Dzhilalil Qur'annya, "Saya bertindak sebagai Khatib dan imam shalat Jum'at itu. Para penumpang yang sebagian besarnya orang asing itu duduk-duduk berkelompok-kelompok menyaksikan kami shalat. Setelah menunaikan shalat banyak dari mereka, yang datang kepada kami untuk mengucapkan selamat atas kesuksesan kami melaksanakan tugas suci. Dan ini merupakan puncak pengetahuan mereka tentang shalat kami." Salah satu orang yang mendatangi jama'ah Sayyid Quthb ialah seorang wanita Nashrani berkebangsaan Yugoslavia yang melarikan diri dari tekanan dan ancaman komunis Teito. Wanita itu mengaku takjub atas kesyahduan dan ketertiban Shalat Jum'at yang didirikan kaum muslimin. Air matanya pun tak kuasa jatuh tak terbendung mengetahui betapa nilai-nilai rabbani yang dilantunkan Sayyid Quthb mampu menyentuh perasaannya. Dengan diliputi rasa heran, ia pun bertanya-tanya alunan musik apa yang baru saja dibacakan Sayyid Quthb. Tidak pernah rasanya dalam hidup ia mendengar untaian Syahdu yang begitu merasuk ke dalam kalbu. Iramanya lembut dan bahasanya pun penuh ketentraman hati. Karena ucapan takjub itu keluar dari mulut seorang wanita yang belum pernah mendengar satu huruf pun di dalam Al Qur'an, apalagi memahaminya. Tentang kejadian itu, Sayyid Quthb menulis dalam Kitab Fii Dzhilalil Qur'an, "Terjadinya peristiwa ini dan peristiwa-peristiwa serupa lainnya, yang dialami banyak orang menunjukkan bahwa di dalam Al Qur'an ini terdapat rahasia lain yang ditangkap oleh sebagian hati manusia, hanya semata-mata ia mendengar Al Qur'an dibaca. Boleh jadi keimanan wanita kepada agamanya dan pelariannya dari negeri komunis itu telah menjadikan perasaannya begitu sensitif terhdap kalimat-kalimat Allah secara mengaggumkan seperti ini." Maka itu Sayyid Quthb, merasa perlu untuk memperbincangkan kekuatan Al Qur'an yang tersembunyi dan mengagumkan itu. Menurut Sayyid Quthb penyampaian Al Qur'an memiliki keistemewaan karena yang ditunjukinya lebih luas, pengungkapannya lebih lembut, indah, dan lebih hidup. Selain itu, Al Qur'an pun memiliki metode penjelasan yang diluar kemampuan jangkauan manusia. Seperti bagaimana Al Qur'an menyampaikan metodenya dalam beberapa ayat di dalam surat Yunus. " dan Kami memungkinkan Bani Israil melintasi laut, lalu mereka diikuti oleh Fir'aun dan bala tentaranya, karena hendak Menganiaya dan menindas (mereka); hingga bila Fir'aun itu telah hampir tenggelam berkatalah dia: "Saya percaya bahwa tidak ada Tuhan melainkan Tuhan yang dipercayai oleh Bani Israil, dan saya Termasuk orang-orang yang berserah diri (kepada Allah)". (Surat Yunus, 90) Menurut Sayyid Quthb, sampai kisah ini diceritakan, Allah kemudian mengomentari secara langsung, dengan firman yang diarahkan kepada pemandangan yang dihadapi sekarang, " Apakah sekarang (baru kamu percaya), Padahal Sesungguhnya kamu telah durhaka sejak dahulu, dan kamu Termasuk orang-orang yang berbuat kerusakan. Maka pada hari ini Kami selamatkan badanmu supaya kamu dapat menjadi pelajaran bagi orang-orang yang datang sesudahmu dan sesungguhnya kebanyakan dari manusia lengah dari tanda-tanda kekuasaan kami." (Surat Yunus 91-92) Kemudian disusul lagi dengan membeberkan pandangan yang terus terjadi hingga sekarang ini, (bahkan pada masa-masa selanjutnya), "dan Sesungguhnya Kami telah menempatkan Bani Israil di tempat kediaman yang bagus dan Kami beri mereka rezki dari yang baik-baik. Maka mereka tidak berselisih, kecuali setelah datang kepada mereka pengetahuan (yang tersebut dalam Taurat). Sesungguhnya Tuhan kamu akan memutuskan antara mereka di hari kiamat tentang apa yang mereka perselisihkan itu." (Surat Yunus 93) Maka benarlah kata Sayyid Quthb bahwa redaksi Al Qur'an sangat berbeda dengan redaksi ciptaan manusia. Redaksi atau susunan Al Qur'an mempunyai kekuatan yang hebat terhadap jiwa, dimana redaksi ciptaan manusia tidak pernah bisa memilikinya. Dengan hanya membacanya, maka kadang-kadang dapat menimbulkan pengaruh yang hebat terhadap orang-orang yang tidak tahu apa-apa tentang bahasa Arab.
